Ma JVM me fait des misères

Bonjour à tous !

IL y a des sujets sur lesquels on n'accroche pas, sans savoir pourquoi ...

Il en est ainsi, pour moi, du plug-in java sous Netscape ou Mozilla ...

Je n'avais pas résolu le problème qous Linux, je suis encore ennuyé sous Open BSD.

Lorsque je démarre une page avec une applet, Mozilla s'arrete instantanément.
Avec l'option DEBUG, il me dit :Error occurred during initialization of VM
java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Could not read ack from child process
System error?

Comment c'est installé ? : Java est dans un dossier /usr/java.
Mon environnement sait ou trouver java : /usr/java/bin. Le plug-ins est installé sous la forme d'un lien symbolique créé dans le dossier plugin de Mozilla.
C'est surement très bête, j'en ai surement résolu des plus hard, mais là, je n'accroche pas ... Merci par avance et A bientôt   Lionel
